Peter Davis' presentation in to a well-attended seminar in Wellington in August was titled 'Sovereignty, sustainable development and social justice: Social democracy in Aotearoa/New Zealand'. Peter is a long-term member of the UK Fabians and commentator on social democracy in New Zealand.

Geoff Bertram gave two presentations also in Wellington - the first was titled 'Electricity prices, asset values and regulation; the Mighty River Power sell-off in context' and the second 'Banks, covered bonds and New Zealand's overseas debt: an update'.

David Craig spoke on the subject of 'Inequality: the rise of winner-take-all politics' in Wellington in June; and Jane Kelsey and Bill Rosenberg on 'The Trans-Pacific Partnership - What will it cover?' in May.
